The Indian market opens for trade the first day of the week on a soft note. On Friday, the US markets ended mixed with the Dow down 55 odd points while Asia is in the red at this hour. Sensex is trading at 15774, down 74 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 4725, down 20 points. CNX Midcap index is down 0.1% and BSE Smallcap index is up 0.2%. The market breadth is negative with advances at 240 against declines of 252 on the NSE.

After a soft start, the market is now trading lower. Sensex is at 15721, down 127 points from its previous close, and Nifty is at 4707, down 39 points. CNX Midcap index is down 0.6% and BSE Smallcap index is down 0.04%.

Buy BEML with a target of Rs 520 and stop loss of Rs 472.50. The stock is currently trading at Rs 507.50, up 4.7% on the BSE.

Sell REC with a target of Rs 152 and stop loss of Rs 166. The stock is currently trading at Rs 157.45, down 2% on the BSE.
